Initial Supported Market

The initial supported service market for MiiA V1 is:

Taiwan

The official MiiA website may be accessible from other countries or regions, but website accessibility does not mean that the MiiA App or all MiiA services are formally available in every jurisdiction.

Additional markets may be opened progressively based on product, security, legal, operational, and app-store release requirements.

Age Eligibility

The initial public release of MiiA V1 is available only to users who are:

18 years of age or older.

MiiA V1 is not primarily directed to children or minors.

If MiiA later opens services to minors, appropriate product, safety, guardian, privacy, and legal mechanisms will be established before such services are formally offered.

Acceptance of These Terms

By:

  • creating a MiiA account;
  • signing in to or activating the service;
  • or continuing to use MiiA after these Terms lawfully become part of the service relationship,

you agree to be bound by these Terms and applicable policies.

Where applicable law requires separate confirmation, review, or consent for particular terms, MiiA should follow those requirements.

What MiiA Is

MiiA is a product and service centered on:

AI Secretary + Trusted Messenger

Depending on the version actually released, MiiA functionality may include:

  • one-to-one text messaging;
  • Trusted Friend Relationships;
  • Trusted Groups;
  • voice and video calls;
  • photo and approved document attachments;
  • Calendar;
  • Reminders;
  • Voice-to-Action;
  • Voice Wake;
  • Voice Command;
  • Voice Message;
  • AI Secretary;
  • Personal Memory;
  • Chat Capture;
  • Trusted Device;
  • Passkey/WebAuthn;
  • Privacy Lock;
  • Security Hold;
  • Points;
  • Free, Plus, Pro, and related service structures.

Not every planned feature will necessarily be available at every time, in every country, on every device, or under every service tier.

Website content, design documents, roadmaps, or future-feature descriptions should not be interpreted as a promise that an unreleased capability is immediately available.

Accounts and Identity

You should provide information reasonably necessary to establish and maintain your account accurately.

You must not:

  • impersonate another person;
  • control another person’s account without authorization;
  • sell, rent, or unlawfully transfer an account;
  • intentionally bypass MiiA identity, security, or permission controls.

Depending on actual risk, MiiA may use:

  • Passkey/WebAuthn;
  • Trusted Device;
  • platform biometric authentication results;
  • OTP channel confirmation;
  • step-up verification;
  • Security Hold;
  • other reasonable security measures.

OTP does not necessarily constitute MiiA’s highest level of identity assurance.

Higher-risk actions may require stronger verification.

Trusted Devices and Account Security

You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your:

  • devices;
  • Passkeys;
  • recovery mechanisms;
  • sign-in information;
  • other security credentials.

If you become aware of:

  • unauthorized account access;
  • device loss;
  • suspicious sign-in activity;
  • Passkey or recovery-security concerns,

you should promptly use available security controls or contact:

support@miia-ai.com

For suspected vulnerabilities or security incidents, contact:

security@miia-ai.com

Do not send passwords, OTPs, Passkey private keys, or other secret credentials by email.

Friends and Trusted Relationships

MiiA V1 uses a closed trust-relationship architecture.

Friends, groups, and other human trust relationships should be established through:

  • explicit invitation;
  • acceptance;
  • verified or explicit relationship state.

MiiA AI must not independently create:

  • friendship;
  • Trusted Group membership;
  • Owner/Admin authority;
  • Permissions;
  • or other human trust relationships,

merely because it infers that two people may be close.

AI inference is not human authority.

Trusted Groups

Trusted Groups may contain roles such as:

  • Owner;
  • Admin;
  • Member.

These roles represent actual authority, not prestige or social status.

Owner/Admin powers must follow the product’s explicit authority state and approved rules.

Owner transfer, leave, close, role change, or other high-authority operations may require step-up verification.

AI must not independently create or change human group authority based only on inference.

MiiA AI Within Trusted Groups

Private MiiA AI interactions inside a Trusted Group follow the principle:

Requester-Private by Default

A private request made by one user to MiiA does not automatically become visible to all members merely because it occurs within a group context.

Where sharing is available, it should occur through an explicit sharing action, shared candidate, shared state, or another approved sharing flow.

Messages

You may use MiiA to send messages consistent with the available product functionality and these Terms.

You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your own content.

To provide Messenger functionality, you grant MiiA only the non-exclusive rights reasonably necessary to:

  • receive;
  • process;
  • transmit;
  • store;
  • synchronize;
  • display;
  • protect

the relevant content.

This limited permission does not transfer ownership of your content to MiiA.

Attachments

MiiA may permit attachments including:

  • photos;
  • PDF;
  • DOC/DOCX;
  • XLS/XLSX;
  • PPT/PPTX;
  • TXT;
  • other formally approved formats.

For security reasons, MiiA may:

  • reject dangerous file types;
  • block suspicious content;
  • perform necessary security inspection;
  • apply file-size or file-format limitations.

Users must not intentionally transmit malware, attack payloads, or other content intended to compromise system security.

Voice and Video Calls

MiiA V1 may provide trusted one-to-one voice and video calls.

Voice and Video operate as media modes within a Trusted Call Session.

MiiA V1 follows the product principle:

Call media is not retained as recordings or videos for later playback.

To establish, maintain, and secure a call, MiiA or approved infrastructure may still process necessary:

  • signaling;
  • session;
  • relay;
  • quality;
  • connection;
  • security metadata.

Call availability may be affected by:

  • network quality;
  • device conditions;
  • operating system behavior;
  • telecom or network environment;
  • relay infrastructure;
  • third-party services.

Voice Wake, Voice Command, and Voice Message

The following are distinct capabilities:

  • Voice Wake;
  • Voice Command;
  • Voice Message.

Voice Wake indicates only that a wake condition has been detected.

It does not mean that:

  • identity authentication has been completed;
  • a high-authority operation has been authorized;
  • a payment has been authorized;
  • all subsequent actions may be executed automatically.

Operations requiring confirmation or step-up verification remain subject to their applicable security flows.

Calendar, Reminders, and Voice-to-Action

MiiA may help users:

  • create calendar events;
  • create reminders;
  • create tasks;
  • understand time or contextual information;
  • turn voice input into a proposed or confirmed action.

AI interpretation of user intent does not mean that all actions have automatically received human authorization.

Where confirmation is required, the product should obtain the appropriate confirmation before carrying out the action.

AI Secretary

MiiA AI may assist with:

  • answering;
  • organizing;
  • summarizing;
  • translating;
  • rewriting;
  • recommending;
  • calendar and reminder support;
  • contextual processing;
  • other formally released capabilities.

AI output may be:

  • incomplete;
  • incorrect;
  • outdated;
  • based on misunderstood context;
  • otherwise inaccurate.

Users should apply appropriate judgment based on the importance of the matter.

AI Must Not Replace Human Authority

AI must not independently create or represent human:

  • identity;
  • Trust Relationships;
  • Permissions;
  • payments;
  • contracts;
  • legal commitments;
  • medical decisions;
  • financial decisions;
  • other inherently non-delegable human actions.

MiiA is designed to assist the real user, not to manufacture human intent.

High-Risk Information

MiiA AI does not replace, in every circumstance:

  • lawyers;
  • physicians;
  • financial professionals;
  • government authorities;
  • other persons or entities with formal professional or legal authority.

For significant matters involving:

  • law;
  • medicine;
  • finance;
  • identity;
  • security,

users should seek appropriate professional or official confirmation where necessary.

Personal Memory

Where MiiA provides Personal Memory, the intended governance principle is:

Candidate → User Confirmation → Save

Information inferred by AI does not become permanently accurate or authoritative user information merely because it was inferred.

Depending on released functionality, users should have appropriate controls to:

  • view;
  • correct;
  • delete;
  • revoke;
  • manage visibility.

Consent to Personal Memory is not the same as consent to model training.

AI Model Training

MiiA’s default governance is that:

Private messages, call content, attachments, Personal Memory, Calendar data, Contacts, and private Support/Security communications are not default sources for general model training.

If MiiA later introduces a voluntary contribution or training program, it should separately:

  • explain the purpose;
  • explain the scope;
  • provide appropriate user choice;
  • establish necessary governance;
  • handle consent and withdrawal as required.

Ownership of User Content

Except where other lawful rights apply, you retain the rights you lawfully hold in your:

  • messages;
  • images;
  • documents;
  • text;
  • other submitted content.

Using MiiA does not automatically transfer full ownership of that content to MiiA.

You grant MiiA only the permissions reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and complete the service functions you request.

Responsibility for User Content

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to:

  • upload;
  • transmit;
  • share;
  • ask MiiA to process

the relevant content.

You must not intentionally use MiiA to infringe another person’s:

  • copyright;
  • trademark;
  • trade secrets;
  • privacy;
  • personal data rights;
  • likeness or publicity rights;
  • other lawful rights.

Prohibited Conduct

You must not use MiiA to:

  1. commit fraud, impersonation, identity theft, or unlawful social engineering;
  2. access accounts, systems, devices, or data without authorization;
  3. distribute malware, viruses, or malicious payloads;
  4. attack, damage, interfere with, or bypass security controls;
  5. conduct malicious spam or abusive mass messaging;
  6. engage in unlawful threats, harassment, or other prohibited conduct;
  7. infringe intellectual property, privacy, or personal-data rights;
  8. unlawfully obtain, sell, or distribute data;
  9. use automation or other means to damage service integrity;
  10. engage in other conduct that violates applicable law.

MiiA should not treat ordinary disagreement or lawful expression as a security violation merely because of differing viewpoints.

Security Hold, Restrictions, and Temporary Measures

Where MiiA reasonably identifies:

  • possible account compromise;
  • account takeover;
  • fraudulent activity;
  • significant security anomalies;
  • serious identity disputes;
  • major violations of these Terms;
  • other specific security risks,

MiiA may apply approved Security Hold or related controls to:

  • temporarily restrict certain functionality;
  • require re-verification;
  • delay high-risk changes;
  • take other necessary protective actions.

Restrictions should be proportionate to the risk and, where reasonably possible, remain:

  • traceable;
  • evidence-based;
  • auditable;
  • subject to an appropriate recovery or appeal path.

Suspension or Termination

MiiA may suspend or terminate an account where there is reasonable basis, including:

  • serious or repeated violations of these Terms;
  • fraud;
  • malicious security attacks;
  • unlawful use;
  • serious harm to other users;
  • legal obligations requiring action.

Except where emergency security needs, law, or other legitimate reasons prevent notice, MiiA should provide appropriate:

  • explanation;
  • notice;
  • recovery or appeal mechanisms,

depending on the circumstances.

Accounts must not be permanently banned solely because of an administrator’s personal preference.

User-Initiated Termination and Account Deletion

Depending on available product functionality, users may:

  • stop using MiiA;
  • delete certain data;
  • request deletion of their account.

Users should ordinarily use the more secure in-App Account/Data management flow where available.

If App access is unavailable, assistance may be requested through:

support@miia-ai.com

Sensitive deletion requests may require appropriate identity verification.

Exact deletion timing, backup purge behavior, security retention, and Processor deletion behavior are governed by Production evidence and the Account & Data Deletion Policy.

Privacy

MiiA’s collection, processing, use, storage, protection of personal data, and user privacy rights are described separately in the:

MiiA Privacy Policy

These Terms must not be interpreted as granting MiiA permission to bypass that Privacy Policy or applicable data-protection law.

Free, Plus, and Pro

MiiA’s product strategy includes:

  • Free;
  • Plus;
  • Pro.

However, publication of the official website or these Terms:

does not mean Plus or Pro is already available for purchase.

Paid tiers may be offered only after applicable billing, platform, payment, security, and release requirements have been completed.

Subscriptions

If MiiA formally offers subscriptions, users should be clearly informed before purchase of applicable:

  • price;
  • billing cycle;
  • automatic renewal status;
  • cancellation method;
  • trial conditions;
  • refund rules;
  • tax or other material payment information.

Actual subscription rules must reflect the applicable Apple, Google, approved payment-provider, and legal requirements in effect at the time of launch.

No Automatic Overage Charging

MiiA follows the product principle:

usage beyond included plan limits must not automatically result in additional charges without clear user authorization.

Where additional purchases or upgrades are later offered, they should require a clear user action and appropriate consent.

Points

MiiA may provide Points.

Rules concerning:

  • earning;
  • gifting;
  • using;
  • expiration or validity;
  • purchase eligibility;
  • exchange or redemption

must be governed by formally published Points rules.

Free or gifted Points and any future paid Points model may be subject to different governance.

Until formally defined, Points must not be described as:

  • legal tender;
  • a bank deposit;
  • an investment product;
  • having cash value that does not actually exist.

Third-Party Services

MiiA may use approved third parties for:

  • hosting;
  • cloud services;
  • AI;
  • authentication;
  • notifications;
  • communications;
  • support mail;
  • billing;
  • security;
  • other infrastructure.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Only services that have actually entered Production and been approved should be treated as formal Production Providers.

Validation, candidate, or future providers do not become Production Providers merely because they were tested.

App Store and Google Play

If you obtain MiiA through the Apple App Store or Google Play, certain matters relating to:

  • download;
  • payment;
  • subscription;
  • refund;
  • store account

may also be governed by the applicable platform rules.

Where a platform is responsible for a transaction or related process under law or its formal policies, the relevant process should follow that platform’s actual mechanism.

MiiA Intellectual Property

Except for user content and third-party rights, intellectual property associated with MiiA, including:

  • software;
  • brand;
  • Robot;
  • UI;
  • icons;
  • designs;
  • original written content;
  • technology;
  • Logo;
  • other company assets

remains owned by the applicable rights holder.

Without authorization, users must not unlawfully:

  • copy;
  • counterfeit;
  • sell;
  • distribute;
  • otherwise infringe such rights.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable fair-use or other statutory exceptions.

Service Updates and Changes

MiiA may update the service for reasons including:

  • security;
  • law;
  • technology;
  • compatibility;
  • product improvement;
  • Provider changes;
  • operational needs.

Changes that materially affect user rights should receive appropriate notice according to applicable law and the nature of the change.

Significant changes to core security, privacy, or payment terms should not be applied through an opaque process without appropriate notice.

Beta, Preview, and Unreleased Functionality

Functionality labeled:

  • Beta;
  • Preview;
  • Coming Soon;
  • Experimental;
  • Validation

may:

  • not yet be fully released;
  • change;
  • be available only for testing;
  • not represent Production availability.

MiiA must not represent validation infrastructure as a Production service.

Service Availability

MiiA will make reasonable efforts to maintain the security and availability of the service.

However, service operation may be affected by:

  • network conditions;
  • telecommunications infrastructure;
  • third-party services;
  • devices;
  • operating systems;
  • maintenance;
  • security incidents;
  • circumstances outside MiiA’s reasonable control.

No networked service can guarantee complete uninterrupted or error-free operation.

This section does not exclude obligations that MiiA must comply with under applicable law.

AI Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

MiiA does not guarantee that AI outputs will always be:

  • correct;
  • complete;
  • consistent with unstated user intent;
  • suitable for every significant decision.

However, MiiA must not use the fact that AI can make mistakes as a blanket basis to exclude product, safety, or consumer responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability relating to MiiA may be reasonably limited based on factors including:

  • cause of loss;
  • foreseeability;
  • ability of the parties to control the risk;
  • usage context;
  • paid or free service relationship;
  • applicable law.

However:

No limitation of liability may exclude or restrict consumer rights or statutory liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Harm Caused by Users

Where a user intentionally or unlawfully:

  • attacks MiiA;
  • distributes malware;
  • impersonates another person;
  • infringes third-party rights;
  • engages in other serious unlawful conduct,

the user may be responsible for resulting damage under applicable law.

The final Terms should not impose unlimited and unconditional indemnification obligations on ordinary consumers for every claim merely related to MiiA.

Governing Law

Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, these Terms are intended to be governed primarily by:

the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China).

This section must not be interpreted to deprive consumers of rights that cannot lawfully be waived or excluded.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a question or dispute relating to MiiA, we recommend first contacting:

support@miia-ai.com

to seek resolution.

If the matter cannot be resolved, available processes may include, as applicable:

  • consumer complaint procedures;
  • mediation;
  • arbitration where lawfully and separately agreed;
  • court proceedings.

Severability

If any portion of these Terms is determined under applicable law to be:

  • invalid;
  • unenforceable;
  • inapplicable,

that portion should be handled to the extent permitted by law.

Whether the remaining provisions continue in effect depends on applicable law and the circumstances.

Updates to These Terms

MiiA may update these Terms due to:

  • legal changes;
  • product changes;
  • security requirements;
  • expansion into new service markets;
  • payment mechanisms;
  • Provider changes;
  • other material service factors.

Each formal version should include:

  • Version;
  • Effective Date.

Changes that may materially affect user rights or obligations should receive appropriate notice according to applicable law and the nature of the change.

MiiA should not rely on a broad statement that “continued use always constitutes acceptance” as a substitute for legally required notice or consent.

Historical Versions

MiiA should retain a reasonable history of prior versions or material changes to support:

  • traceability;
  • contract governance;
  • user understanding;
  • dispute resolution.

Privacy Policy and Additional Rules

Depending on their scope, the following documents may also form part of the MiiA service framework:

  • MiiA Privacy Policy;
  • Account & Data Deletion Policy;
  • Subscription/Payment terms, if and when formally launched;
  • Points rules, if and when formally launched;
  • additional rules applicable to particular features.

If documents conflict, interpretation should take account of:

  • applicable law;
  • the scope of each document;
  • individually negotiated terms, if any;
  • the more specific formal term applicable to the matter.
